We recognize that instructors who want to master the EdGCM software and want to learn more about climate modeling science could benefit from closer interaction with the EdGCM development team. For this reason we offer professional development opportunities and are available to meet with you, your colleagues, and even your students, to provide information and instruction at a range of levels, including:
- One-hour to half-day introductions to the EdGCM software suite
- Full-day introductory workshops that include hands-on experience with EdGCM and an introduction to the fundamentals of global climate change and climate modeling science
- Multi-day introductory and advanced user workshops that can involve intensive use of EdGCM, the science of global climate change, curriculum development exercises, and tutorials on how to design your own climate experiments, depending on the workshop level (may qualify for CEU in your school district)
- Personalized assistance in implementing EdGCM in your undergraduate courses, after-school and summer programs, etc.
